Today Carl Nixon spoke to the whole school in assembly and urged everyone to follow their passions because they would lead on to ultimate success. Mentioning the String it Together theme he reflected upon his time at school, and how a love of drama led to writing plays and how this ultimately developed into writing short stories and novels.

At Morning Tea we held a quiz to discover how many words using 4 letters or more could be made with the letters String it Together. There were two first placed winners (Chris and Victor) who managed to make 40 words before the bell rang for class.

At Lunchtime we held a popular Yo-Yo competition – how many throws in 30 seconds? The winner was Nick.
